How to refund or exchange your tickets

 

*This service is only available to Gold and Platinum Membership holders.


Restrictions


1. The refund/exchange service is only available for self-produced productions at Theatre Above. Any ticket refund or exchange must be requested at least 7 days prior to the performance.


2. There will be a charge of 20% of the actual ticket value for refunding.


3. Each member will only be able to refund/exchange one ticket per performance, and with a maximum of six tickets at one time.


4. Membership points and purchase history will be automatically deleted when the ticket has been refunded.


5. The refund/exchange service is only available to Gold and Platinum Membership holders.


6. Tickets will be invalid if altered, damaged, or missing necessary information. Tickets marked as “Not for Sale”, ”Complimentary ticket”, or “Press Ticket” cannot be exchanged or refunded.


7. The refund/exchange service is not available for non-self-produced productions at Theatre Above.

 


Instructions


1. Refunding


a If ticket hasn’t been picked up: Customers can login to the Membership Center online to apply for refund 7 days prior to the performance provided that they haven’t picked up the tickets from the ticket vending machine or at the box office. 20% of the actual ticket price will be deducted as a fee. The remainder of the ticket value will be refunded to your credit card, online banking, or Alipay within 3 business days.


b  If ticket has been picked up: Customers who have picked up their tickets need to apply for refund at the online Membership Center 7 days prior to performance. After the application is approved, please go to the box office with the original ticket, the debit/credit card of payment, and the receipt (if applicable) to refund the ticket.


c Customers who paid cash: After the 20% of the actual ticket price has been deducted, the remainder of the ticket value will be refunded to you in cash.


d  Customers who paid with debit/credit card: After the 20% of the actual ticket price has been deducted, the remainder of the ticket value will be refunded to your debit/credit card within 7 business days.


2. Exchange


a  If ticket hasn’t been picked up: Customers can login to the Membership Center online to apply for ticket exchange 7 days prior to the performance provided that they haven’t picked up the tickets from the ticket vending machine or at the box office. A new order number and confirmation code will be generated after the application has been approved.

 

b  If ticket has been picked up: Customers who have picked up their tickets need to apply for ticket exchange at the online Membership Center 7 days prior to performance. After the application is approved, please go to the box office with the original ticket and the debit/credit card of payment to complete ticket exchange.

 


c  Customers who paid cash: Depending on the price of the new ticket, a refund or a supplemental payment may occur.

 

d  Customers who paid with debit/credit card: Full price of the original ticket will be refunded to debit/credit card. The new ticket can be purchased with cash or debit/credit card.
